MyHomesNG is a comprehensive property management platform that simplifies the process of managing rental properties. Our platform offers a range of features designed to streamline property management for landlords, agents, facility managers, and tenants. Here’s how it works:
Property Management:
The Property Management module is at the heart of MyHomesNG. This feature allows landlords and homeowners to list, approve, and boost their properties' visibility on the platform. Key functionalities include:
Negotiated Pricing
Landlords can opt for dynamic pricing, allowing potential tenants to propose different rates. This system ensures that the landlord has control over the final price, with the flexibility to negotiate according to demand. Agent Management: Landlords can assign primary and secondary agents to their properties. Primary agents are responsible for the property listings, while secondary agents earn a proportion of the earnings generated by the primary agent’s bookings.
User Role Access
The functionalities of this module are tailored to different user roles, ensuring that each individual involved in the property management process has access to relevant tools. This module ensures that all rental properties are effectively managed, whether they are apartments for rent, townhomes, or luxury properties in Lagos or elsewhere.
Booking Management
The Booking Management system is a key feature that allows customers to book their stays in different rental properties across the platform. Our system supports three primary property types:
We offer negotiated pricing functionality enables tenants to propose a price that differs from the advertised price. This provides flexibility, with the landlord, agent, or admin having the final say on the price. Once the price is agreed upon, users are notified, and the availability calendar is updated once payment has been processed. This feature guarantees an efficient and transparent booking process.

In the Booking Management system, bookings are organized into four key categories that help property owners, agents, and tenants track the status of rental properties.
Reserved bookings are confirmed bookings where the customer has made full payment, securing the reservation. This guarantees the rental property is reserved, and the only status in this category is reserved.
Active bookings include all ongoing bookings that are still in progress, pending approval, or awaiting payment. Possible statuses for these bookings are pending, where the booking is awaiting approval from the property manager, Approved, meaning the booking has been confirmed, or Reserved, indicating the payment has been processed, and the property is secured. History bookings are those where the customer has completed their stay, and the booking status is marked as Completed.
Finally, canceled bookings refer to reservations that were never fully completed, either because the customer canceled the booking or the property owner or agent rejected it. This includes Unapproved bookings, where the property manager or landlord didn’t confirm the reservation, Unpaid bookings, where the customer failed to make the payment before check-in, or bookings that remained in Pending status beyond the check-in date, resulting in cancellation. Possible statuses within this category include Pending, when a booking was not approved in time, Rejected, if the property owner or agent declined it, and canceled, when the customer canceled the reservation. This system ensures clear visibility into the status of all rental property bookings, making property management more efficient and organized.
